In his instant comment Mr. Q. K.Ahmed spoke about the employment situation in line with the PRSP, there is no particular direction about the improvement of the overall employment situation which may address the poverty situation. He also mentioned that the agricultural subsidy has increased from 11 hundred crore Taka to 12 hundred crore Taka, but the farmers are not getting the fruits of it. The middlemen are swallowing the subsidies.
