Health is an asset. Health sector and economic development is very much interrelated to each other. In this budget allocation for health sector is not sufficient. The private sector plays important role in health sector of Bangladesh which has no reflection in this budget. The number of hospitals and private clinics is increasing gradually. But Government has no attention in this issue specially on increasing foreign investment in health sector.. Government has no policy to address this issue. This is really very unsatisfactory.
